Alex Smith
Senior Staff Writer
Alex Smith is an experienced journalist, copywriter and magazine editor with a long history in boating and a happy addiction to the water.
He has worked on boats, lived on boats, bought boats, sold boats and – when he’s not actually on board a boat – he can generally be found in his Folkestone home office, tapping away at his computer and gazing out to sea.
His career highlight so far is bringing a nuclear submarine up onto the Continental Shelf after a passage across the Atlantic from Bermuda.
After nearly 20 years in the industry, he's extremely proud to be writing, shooting and presenting content for Europe's leading motor boat magazine.
