Hugo Andreae takes you on a tour of the flagship of the Turkish shipyard's fleet: the Sirena 118. Designed by Sirena Yachts in Turkey
The new Sirena 118 is the Turkish shipyard’s flagship vessel and arguably redefines what it means to build a customised superyacht.
Designed in collaboration with Cor D. Rover, this long-range cruiser blends serious passage-making capabilities with an interior decor so distinct, personal, and eccentric that it stands completely in a league of its own.
From the moment you step onto the transformer-style hydraulic stern platform, the boat asserts its scale. Massive fold-out teak terraces transform the aft into an expansive beach club, complete with a carbon-fibre shower and tender storage built to house a Williams 505 jet tender.
Moving inside, the layout challenges traditional yacht aesthetics, showcasing a retro-industrial, “steampunk-meets-movie-set” aesthetic featuring riveted steel accents, leather-clad walls reminiscent of a classic gentlemen’s club, and aviation-inspired decor.
The multi-deck design maximises luxury and entertaining spaces:
Sundeck & Flybridge: Features a hot tub, shaded lounging zones, and an outdoor bar finished with turquoise feather-style tiling and custom woodwork.
Sky Lounge: Highlights a propeller glass table, trunk tables, and a specialized bar with crystal locked behind sleek metal sliding cages.
Owner’s Suite: Positioned forward on the main deck, this master space features continuous sea views, an en-suite bath with a hand-painted tub, and private access to a dedicated foredeck terrace.
The Private Duplex: A private staircase within the master suite leads down to a secluded cavern featuring a study, media lounge, and a side-folding balcony that opens directly over the water.
Accommodating up to ten guests across four vibrant lower-deck cabins alongside dedicated crew quarters, the vessel is built for effortless long-haul journeys.
Powered by twin 1,900 hp MAN engines with a 20,000-liter fuel capacity, the full-displacement hull comfortably reaches a cruising range of 1,900 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Starting at €15.5 million (ex VAT), the Sirena 118 demonstrates the absolute limits of custom yacht building, proving that when custom design meets performance engineering, the results are out of this world.
